This review examines emerging innovations across the entire lung cancer surgical journey, including prehabilitation, advanced 3D surgical planning, uniportal robotic surgery, non-intubated VATS, novel locoregional anesthesia techniques, digital drainage, and drainless surgery. The authors argue that the greatest improvements in recovery may come not from individual interventions alone, but from the combined, synergistic application of multiple ERATS components.
